Research Lab: Communications & Signal Processing Lab

Research lines

Communications & Signal Processing (ComSP) Lab is devoted to advanced research activities in the broad areas of communications and signal processing, with a special focus on wireless communications. The key research lines at ComSP Lab are:

  • Communications techniques (MIMO, physical layer security, reconfigurable intelligent surfaces) for a wide set of scenarios (wireless, underwater acoustic, power line, vehicular).
  • Robust signal processing solutions for future wireless communications.
  • Wireless channel modeling, including Bayesian methods for model selection.
  • Machine learning for next generation cellular communications, including prototyping over software defined radios.
  • Information theory with emphasis on semantics and timing‐aware communications for humans and/or machines.
  • LEO satellite constellations for IoT.
  • Wireless powered communications.
